would I be a snitch for telling my RA my roommate smoked weed in our room? I wanna move out, but I'm a student athlete and could lose my spot on the team if "we're" caught, I just want out.

f for some more context it isn't just about the weed. She regularly wakes me up by coming in late, turning on the lights, or FaceTime while I'm asleep one night she got blackout drunk lost her keys and key card. Call me four times at 1 AM to let her back into the building, then banged on our door until I let her in I had practice at 5 AM. She also came back at 5 .

id say you should tell your RA is its that much of a risk for you. I know how strict the coaches are and I really wouldn't risk it. You could also try bringing it up to your roomate and see if that helps with anything before escalating it to the RA!

Tell the RA. You have a lot more to lose than she does when she gets caught, emphasis on when. I would say talk to her first but given everything else she’s doing I don’t think anything would change if you did.

Just move out hello, she sounds annoying so leave no reason to get her into crazy trouble

So you want her arrested? Just talk to her, if she’s a bitch in response then consider ruining her life

Going to the RA usually only results in her being kicked out if that. Most schools would rather not deal with the cops. Same goes for landlords in that capacity. This is especially true if weed is legal in OP’s state as then the only rule violated is the no smoking one. It’s better than OP losing their spot and scholarship because they get “caught” with her or god forbid test positive from secondhand

I’d give them the offer of just having you transferred to a different room as opposed to her having to be evicted, since that’s really all you want

Then I guess they have to go through the paperwork then because you two cannot stay in the same room.
