Used to have a second roommate who did this. She was always the last asleep so she would leave it unlocked to go brush her teeth and stuff and then not lock it when she went to bed. I locked her out of the room on multiple occasions because she didn't bring her keys with her either. We left notes and talked to her directly. We were both so happy when she moved buildings.

Make it every ones problem. Including the boyfriends. Eventually he's going to get fed up with having to come let her in. Make up excuses for yourself when possible for why you can't if needed.

I think the reason this girl doesn’t lock the door is bc she leaves her keys with her bf (who is squatting here and we’ve told her can’t live here) so he can come and go as much as his unemployed ass feels
