my roommate just doesn't clean at all, their side has been a mess since week 1 and it sucks bc having ppl over means that they can't ignore the mess on their bed or desk or floor. they don't view it as an issue but i can't stand it

No same. I even try to clean my side while they’re here but they never get the hint. I also say “wow my side looks so dirty” but they never clean.

LITERALLY! they'll be like "omg my sides a mess 😅😅" and then leave it as is. it's gotten to the point that i have to give people disclaimers before they step in the room that it's their side that's a mess and not mine bc i'm embarrassed tbh
