No, if ur pulling an Irish goodbye, there’s obviously a reason for it

I’d tell them about important shared stuff you’re taking (like a shared fridge) but other than that nah

Yeah but the whole point of an Irish goodbye is not telling them

Yeah but if it’s stuff they need to have a plan for you really gotta tell them

Not necessarily. My freshman roommate Irish goodbyed for no reason (she was super entitled so it was a blessing in disguise). But she took the shared fridge and microwave, so she took all my stuff out of the fridge and left it there. I didn’t have a car so I had to scramble to find a friend on campus who could hold my stuff while I called my parents hoping they could come pick me up with a cooler and take me to the store so I could buy a fridge all before my food spoiled

She has no food in there just snacks. She also has a bf who has a single. Hero fam also lives abt an hour away so she’d be ok

Ma’am snacks are food, and that doesn’t mean she has access to his dorm immediately. Just give her a heads up “oh I’m moving out grab what you need from the fridge and make plans”

She sees him every day and nothing is able to be soiled. There’s also a fridge downstairs in the common room along with a freezer if needed
