I wish my roommate would make friends and not be in our room ALL DAY LONG. This girl does not even go to class either; like damn what are you going to school for?? Can I have the room alone for like an hour PLEASE

I’m in the exact same boat and I’ve talked to her about her mental health and she says she’s fine and I feel so bad asking for alone time because she never asks me for it but she is literally constantly in the dorm 24/7. I tell her to go to class she says “I’m a business major I don’t have to go” THEN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AT LEAST!!!!

talk to her about it then, maybe she’s struggling mentally. it is that time of year where depression starts to make itself more known

I already did multiple times. I have gave her so much comfort and told her she could talk to me about anything. I’m not her mom. It gets to a point in college where u need to stand up fr. She doesn’t clean at all, doesn’t contribute to the dorm and lays in bed all day doing nothing. I have seen her do any work since the beginning of the year

if she’s not contributing the way she’s supposed to, u should think about contacting the ra. she’s not upholding her suitemate agreement if that’s the case and she’s not contributing
