Honestly either don’t room with anyone (if you’re lucky enough to be able to do that) or have them put you with someone because as fun as rooming with your friends sounds it fuckin destroys friendships if yalls home lives are too different/not different enough, it has to mesh literally perfectly which does not happen often

You just need to be able to have firm conversations without it ruining the friendship. “Hey you’re still my bestie, but your dorm and spaces are messy af and I don’t live like that, I’m gonna live with someone else”
