This reminds me of the time when this girl left her pink laundry basket next to the dryer with a cute little note that said to load it up for her if she wasnāt back in time. Like girlšāwhat do you think this place is, we are NOT being tricked into doing your laundry for youš
I feel like a lot of yall are missing the point. I totally get moving the laundry if itās been even like 5 minutes because people should be on top of it in a communal space, but the post Iām pretty sure is talking about the douchebags that move laundry RIGHT after itās done. One time I was literally standing there to retrieve my friendās laundry when she had an interview and the guy in front of me started taking it out the second the dryer stopped. NOT okay people
Itās cool and infact great that you do that but then you have people who will leave their clothes in the laundry room for days I was once waiting on someone to get their laundry and 45 minutes later they hadnāt shown up I left with my clothes and went to a different laundry room to get it done. The next day those clothes were still there in the same washing machine as the day before
My college doesnāt allow you to live off campus unless youāre in VERY specific qualifications (over 22, military, married, have kids, live within 25 miles). Itās insane considering Iāve never met a single student who lives within that range, most of us are fresh out of high school, and nobody wants to have children right now lol
I unfortunately never found out who did it. I didnāt realize I left it behind until I folded my laundry a few hours later. For context I lived in a super small dorm only for juniors and seniors, like probably 35 people living there. We were all required to join the dorm groupme and 99% of the time it was used for laundry communication. It would have been SO easy for them to send a message saying āhey someone left a purple towel in the laundry roomā but no. They chucked it right in the trash š
