We got into an argument and I told her that she needed to let us know when he was coming from now on. We agreed months ago that we would all let each other know when we were having company stay the night (especially s/o) AITA for telling her that they’ve made us uncomfortable because we’ve asked her to have him to stop smoking weed in the house and letting us know when he was coming? She never even told us he was moving in he just did

Okay I’m gonna say no but a couple of clarifying questions to confirm 1. What type of dorm do you live in? 2. Is it raw weed or a vape? (If vape is it in shared areas?) 3. If you already agreed to this as a rule why are you fighting and considering you’re the asshole?

it’s a shared house. it’s owned by a private owner. and it’s raw weed and 3. I didn’t originally think i’m in the wrong but she’s been acting incredibly petty so it started making me question myself a bit

we at first originally didn’t care, but he’s not paying anything to live here. our utilities have been extremely high because we have a fourth person living here and our landlord specifically asked us not to smoke because she didn’t want to have to pay the fees to get it clean

Okay okay I understand, you are not the asshole, he doesn’t live there, has no right to smoke his weed there, and your roommate needs to remember that she ain’t the only one paying rent and her bf ain’t Jesus or lady Gaga so no one cares ab him
