I love my roommate. But the worst thing she does is take off for 2-3 weeks and is like “haha you guys have to take care of my 80+ plants when I go!!!” when we ask for specifics she doesn’t usually respond

I always ask my roommate before I do this (and I only have 2 plants that need watered 1-2x week) but I always feel guilty. If I had EIGHTY plants I’d pay someone to do it or leave instructions

Fortunately my roommate/plantsitter has green thumbs but I have stepped in because past roommates were entrusted to lizard-sit and knew nothing about reptiles (I do and probably saved its life). Always pick your sitters wisely lol!

I choose to use accommodations for them tho. They actually help give me a better assessment of what I can remember and get through

I don’t mind that much. It just annoys me she doesn’t even courtesy ask or offer anything. To be fair she left more instruction this time I woke up to notes all over the house which I appreciate. But in the past she hasn’t
