all of my roommates except me have a pet, but god forbid i mention possibly bringing my cat. "that's too many animals!!" why is it different for you then? you just want a free pet sitter
most apartments have a limit on pets i think. so depending on the number of roommates you have that could be why. i would check your lease to make sure

this is true, it's one registered pet per person. i think honestly their issue is one of them has a second (unregistered) pet and is relying on me taking the blame when the apartment catches on. which i will not do either way, if i have my cat or not

i would square that away with your landlord asap. be a snitch, because more than likely the landlord will make you pay if your rm gets caught and blames you

the landlord knows i don't have a pet, any time there's a repair or anything i make sure they know not to let any animals into my room. but honestly i'm getting really annoyed with this whole thing so i've considered reporting the unregistered one

honestly it depends on if you have a good relationship with your roommates but i say do it and ask for it to be anonymous. have the landlord say they came in for an inspection or maintenance or something and saw the unregistered pet.

yeah that's a good point because at that points it's my word vs theirs and i'm not sure if the other roommates would be honest

also lock your door when you leave in case they try to put the cat in your room to pin it on you. i hope they don't do that but it happened to one of my friends
