As someone with a streetlamp outside her window currently: he just needs some blinds. Shuts out most of the light but still allows that natural sunlight he wants to come in in the mornings.

that's so dumb☠️ he can't tell a whole house they can't have christmas lights just because he refuses to get curtains. i hope he learns from this lesson
