Hey guys I know this is a rant space but I wanted to ask what would you guys recommend to clean floors that isn’t a mop and water? Do swiffers work? How do they work?

Swiffers are good for the every day dust to pick up hair and crumbs. For a good deep clean you’ll need a scrubbing brush or clean mop to really get in the grooves. For example, I’m not living where I currently am for a very long time. I did a deep clean at move in, but now I just use my swiffer and mop pads every once in a while.

Tbh I didn’t enjoy swiffers since it wasn’t as deep of a clean

If all you do is swiffer long term, it’s just pushing around dirt/ cleaning the surface, and not giving you a true clean

Some people like steamers! But it depends on the type of flooring you have, sometimes that can cause mold
