I just find it crazy that week after week my roommate literally watches me clean the whole apartment while laying on the couch and never thinks to themselves “huh, I should pitch in”

at some point just start only cleaning what you know is your mess, then she doesn’t really have a choice but to help

I did this recently but unintentionally. I was sick and just didn’t have the energy. They don’t give a shit and I’m not risking bugs and stink I’d rather clean 🥲 They don’t notice the hair clumps or cereal on the floor. They don’t pay attention to when a lightbulb goes out, or that the hvac stopped working. I do it all and I’m exhausted. It’s been 10 months of playing mom.
