Ik people usually complain about dirty roommates but having a cleaning obsessed one is horrible too. Gotten to the point that we are vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning surfaces everyday

I’m the only girl living with three guys and I swear I am the only one that does yard work or cleans the house. I’ve gotten really pissed about it since my mom raised me to keep any house clean so I wish that I had your roommates.

Mopping everyday is necessary only if the other person living there is that disgusting. Roommate used to miss the toilet all the time, it was so gross.

I would say vacuuming once a week, mopping once a month, dusting every 3 months. Don’t get me wrong cleanliness is very important but it doesn’t have to be the Buckingham palace

I got yelled at for refilling my waterbottle with our brita filter because “germs would spread to the filter since I had already drank out of that bottle” 😭

We are all guys but we are pretty clean, but one of my roommate is too obsessive and it becomes too much specially during finals or tough weeks

I’m sorry for ur situation but nah u would absolutely hate his roommate. All extremes suck. Idk what to compare it to but like imagine it as being in a relationship with someone who is totally narcissistic vs somebody that’s totally obsessive. Or like burning to death vs freezing to death. Both fucking suck. Trading one for the other just sounds like a good thing now cuz ur experiencing the opposite

To add to this. The goal is to have a clean and respectful roommate.

bro one of my roommates freshman year had bad ocd and was like this. we were never allowed to leave anything on the counter or in the common room. it had to be spotless in an uncanny way 😭😭
