Only thing that worked for me was getting my own trashcan that I took out so they had to face the fact the overflowing garbage was theirs and theirs alone

Yeah you kinda have to just keep cleaning after just yourself, get your own dish ware and anything they might dirty if communal and any mess left cannot be pushed on to you
