Or just walk around the room with no clothes… since it’s so hot in there

Make a formal roommate agreement setting the thermostat at a reasonable temp for everyone and then remove the batteries to the thermostat once it’s at that temp so nobody can change it again against the agreement. If it’s too warm but reasonable get a fan. Too cool but reasonable put on some layers.

How in the word are yall fine below 70°? Call me crazy but 73° is the best temp. Anything else has me bundled up in layers or sweating

74 is completely reasonable. i can’t walk around my house in heavy ass clothes i’m tryna be comfortable. and even though fans are allowed in dorms, a heater isn’t

Is 74 reasonable? That’s what they set it to, I would prefer it to be under 70 but I compromise at 71-72 depending on the weather outside. I just feel like 74 is to warm to be laying in bed.

Personally, 74 is absurd. Like a fan wouldn’t even be able to cool me off. My personal preference is 68-69, but 70-72 is completely tolerable in loose clothes and a fan. So yeah I think 71/72 is a great compromise. 70 would be best if you can get them to agree to it.

Yeah at the beginning of the year I tried to say I’d compromise at 71 cause it’s unfortunately 3 vs 1 and they did say yes but now they just turn it up every time they come in because it’s cold outside and they don’t even give themselves a second to warm up

If you already agreed to a compromise just remind them of that! Say “I already agreed to warmer than comfortable for me at 71 at the beginning of the year, please be courteous and remember that agreement and stop turning it higher”
