So a general rule of thumb when it comes to fire code (which is heavily enforced in apartments by the fire marshal) is two people per bedroom. So couple that with the suspicion that the bf isn’t on the lease and I wouldn’t be surprised if the landlord has no idea how many people are moving into that one room

Yeahhh that’s what we’re thinking. She and her other roommate are going to talk to the office about it tomorrow, and also bc apparently the new roommate and the bf also have felonies on their records so she obv doesn’t feel safe rooming with them
