I certainly see where you’re coming from but it’s very hard to “collaborate “ with someone who complains a lot about things and wants everything a certain way and can’t have decency to be a good roommate. Also we are in college housing so we are both pursuing degrees, no disrespect to anybody in the service but my roommate has no room to look down on sb for a degree when we are the same grade and she’s 5 years older.. regarding that me and my other roommate’s don’t feel like we should have to

Discipline and talk to sb like we are their higher up or mother, I get yall have done a lot for the country and I couldn’t imagine the living arrangements, but she is a fully grown woman. A teenager shouldn’t even have to speak to her about cleaning up. We have had confrontations but she is more so the type to run and tell my roommate to tell me then either be silent to my face or try to be friendly. It’s just odd to me. Thanks I’ll def think about what you said tho and more so her POV

I never been in a ship, before all this stuff started she did show us some videos and the spaces were tiny and even tho I don’t like her as a person I respect her for not only going to the service but fitting everything into little cubbies

Female berthing is infamous for being horrendous. I was attached to a ship and nearly died when I got lost and ended up near their area. If she was Army or Marines, then I would understand, but the Navy isn’t known for the cleanliness
