Called out my roommate and told her she’s not my friend anymore months ago, recently she’s been moving my stuff (only) so I left a note for her saying quit it and she called the cops…. Like Girl what????( I haven’t had any cops come here or call me yet)

I mean other than her thinking maybe I broke into her room because she has a lock but it wasn’t locked, I laid a note in her room not even going in it just placing it there so she knows it’s for her and shut the door and locked it for her. I was trying to be nice for as upset as I was with her but I never broke into anything that’s crazy

Calling the cops when no crimes have been committed is misuse of emergency services and is a civil offense which can result in fines. If it keeps going they can slap a harassment charge on there and have an overnight jail stay but that’s really rare or you have to be calling multiple times an hour for days

My friends told me she’s playing petty bc I called her out for lying to every one so she can have things her way so I told her she wasn’t my friend anymore

I’d might communicate to your landlord that the cops have never come and that the offense she’s calling them over is her touching your stuff. The only reason I see with bringing something like this to a landlord is if she’s trying to make you seem unstable/get you kicked out so it’s best to cover your bases.

I’ve talked to the landlord I think he has to get in the middle of it because the cops won’t tbh😅😭 plus I already have no much evidence on her touching my shit
