They’re shitty for that, I’m sorry you have to deal with this. Not trying to sound snarky or anything, but if you pay half, and they split the other half, that means they each only pay 1/4 of the bill, not 1/3. Totally understandable mistake though, just figured I’d share.

thanks, and the one who’s complaining about it literally moved in not even three weeks ago. I also did the math when I was tired/mad and kind of just stuck with it

No worries at all, I’m sure dealing with them is exhausting. I just wanted to make sure you weren’t giving them more credit than they deserved lol. Can I ask why you pay the majority of the utility bill?

We usually get along fine. I’m closer to one of them in specific who is the one that told me that she was peeved about it. but I pay the majority since it’s a two bedroom apartment they share a room and I have my own
