Honestly just toss it. She’s claiming you bought it so you can do what you want with it, if she’s gotta problem with that she can keep her food on her side.

Yeah that’s why you need to lock your food down. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was buying the medium eggs and then swapping them with your more expensive large eggs to “save money”

Considering her tendency to gaslight rather than throw her own food out, I fear the roommate would just take the food out of the containers and just claim OP is using more than they think. Labeling is still a smart move if OP gets a fridge lockbox cause it’ll prevent the roommate from acting like OP’s the thief here.

ya i’m pretty sure she watered down my alc too cuz it literally cannot get me TIPSY and it’s a strong ass liquor and i’m a 5’0 110 pd woman. not to mention it goes down a whole lot easier than i remember 😪

Now I kinda wanna be in the room when your roommate realizes she no longer has access to anything you bought cause does she seriously think you don’t notice when she refills the vodka bottle or whatever with water? That’s the oldest trick in the book and she can’t even gaslight you into thinking you did it cause who tf puts water in liquor bottles unless they’re trying to hide the fact that they stole it?

it’s funny cuz i paid for everything in the apartment so i wouldn’t be surprised if she’s secretly using my cups or silverware or cooking utensils. we used to be friends so i didn’t mind paying for everything like that especially cuz she would’ve never bought it but when we stopped being friends it’s not convenient for her cuz she has no cups plates silverware cooking supplies or the pantry i bought so she has to use the one thing she bought(a pull out trash can holder w like a counter on top)
