It’s one of my biggest pet peeves. If my rms home I always go to call ppl in my room. But also like if I’m making food and smo calls me, I’ll pick up, but I make sure to keep the convo on the shorter side out of consideration of her yk

No fr!!! My roommate loves to do this and slam the kitchen cabinets while on speaker phone too. It’s so loud that I can hear her outside my apartment. It really makes you realize how some people just have no self awareness. Like other people live with you, we don’t want to hear you talking on speaker.

Exactly..if I have to answer the phone in the kitchen or something I will but I usually keep the volume quiet and the convo short. I don’t understand the people who sit down there for hours with the phone on speaker volume screaming the whole time.

I’m so glad u agree bc I’ve always felt like an ass for being irritated when my rm talks for what feels like forever in the living room/kitchen. Shell talk SO LOUD and obnoxiously like can u not just call like that in ur room in private? And then I always feel weird like I’m intruding if I go to make food or smth while she’s in the living room yapping away otp
