When is it appropriate to be mad for hearing college apartment roommate having sex. It’s happened multiple times, I usually laugh it off, but I’m kinda over it. I get the walls are thin and it’s a fact of shared living, but it’s grtti g worse

I mean to what extent, like purposely loud, late. It’s hard to get upset at someone for being intimate in her house too

That said I’d talk to her

2am most times. Loud moans and other sounds.. yk. Also their intimate talks. If it was just the bed I’d hear I wouldn’t care. She’s also said how bad she’s felt because I’ve brought it up before a few times. She says she will be quieter but never is

I don’t wanna be rude or shame her. Sex is normal. Hearing something now and then is normal too. But it’s every single time she has her man over. Which is a lot. I want to feel comfortable in my room too. (We share a wall)

sex is normal but shes aware u can hear her fully and "feels bad"? i guarantee u that's just not caring 😭 it's ok to shame to actually get a person to stop because she clearly doesn't know how to be mindful. i'm mindful to the people in my suite, even when we don't share a wall by staying quiet if i hear them come out their room and whatnot. if i knew i shared a wall with my suitemate i'd stay quiet completely and your roommate is capable of doing that.
