I so did not sign up for the roommate I got, homegirl claimed to be a morning person and then is coming and going from the apartment past midnight, finishing laundry around midnight or later, etc. Is a morning person not someone who goes to bed before 12?

a morning person doesn’t necessarily mean they go to bed before 12, just that they are awake and active in the morning

I just want my peace to be alone and free to function in my apartment for a bit and I don’t even get any time where she’s asleep and not bothersome anymore 😔

She doesn’t really wake up overly early either as far as I can tell, she usually gets at least 8 hours of sleep a night. She was up at 1 am last night 😐

I mean, if she slept 8 hours and got up at 9, she could be called a morning person

I guess so, I just sort of feel like people who wake up at 7 or earlier are what I consider to be morning people personally, I think 8-10 is for the middle, and 11 and on tends to be more of a night person or late day person

Nah when you wake up doesn’t determine if you’re a night person. You could be a night owl and an early bird. Night people stay up late, morning people get up early, the two are not mutually exclusive
