Please settle this argument for me. It’s 80 degrees and humid out. Summers on the way. WHAT DO WE LEAVE THE THERMOSTAT AT?! I’m not paying for AC to run at 69 when no one is home 🤦‍♀️

it takes more energy to reheat a home than to keep it cool. Don’t up the temp just because you aren’t home. Every time you come home it will take more electricity to cool it back off. Also it increases humidity and can grow mold very fast

if everyone is going to be gone for like a longggg time like a month or more you can leave it around 70-74 but I would keep it in the low range to prevent mold. Ur paying rent still and if anyone were there you’d still be paying the bill. No reason to damage ur stuff and suffer just cus no one will actually be home. I think if it like im paying and if there were people home id be paying the AC bills too so no difference to me i expected to pay for that in the first place
