Idk if this is applicable but stop doing anything for your roommate until they do their dishes. Take any other dishes that are yours and keep them in your room. No favors, no rides, no advice, nothing until the dishes are done. Any time she tries to talk to you just say do your dishes. This is what I had to do for my roommate and it’s been working pretty well

That’s fuckin ridiculous, like I won’t deny that when I still had roommates, I was sometimes a little messy (not leaving my dishes for a MONTH, but like a week) and I’d never be mad if my roommate was like “hey man can you get your dishes” like wtf how you gonna be a slob and combative about it

You gotta clean the oven and the dishes, the fuck? Unless you’re feeding everyone, in which case yeah then you can make dish negotiations. Like, when I would cook a big meal for all 3 guys in my apartment, I’d usually ask one of the others to do the dishes because they ate the food and I did the work to make it. But if you’re just feeding yourself, then you gotta fully clean up after yourself.

If it was a snowstorm and I spent 4 hours making a big ass pot of clam chowder for the whole apartment, I might ask my roommate to clean my pot for me since he’s eating my soup, just holding up his end of the bargain type thing. But if I make myself something? And I’m the only one who eats it? Those are my dishes alone to clean.
