Honestly, given what you wrote. It sounds like she is at her wits end. And I don’t blame her. I also had blocked my roommates because communication did not work. Things kept staying the same and nothing was changing. Not trying to blame you, but I suggest changing your behavior and helping out more with chores.

First off, who cares if they’ve unfollowed socials that’s just her immaturity showing. Blocking you on the other hand prevents communication, which roommates need one way or another. Take her word for it and act like she’s over it. If she wants to throw a tantrum, let her, it’s not your problem anymore. What was the chore issue?

Anyway, I feel you. I’m stuck in a similar situation, but quite frankly, I don’t have time to deal with childish bs. I’ve communicated professionally and nicely, I’ve been a clean and quiet rm… mine has nothing to complain about except for whatever story they’ve created in their head which I have no responsibility for

she said that she was taking on all of the responsibilities at the apartment, and so i apologized and starting picking up my slack - that was 3 months ago, i apologized since then but she’s still upset

yeah i don’t know what to do with her getting upset when she’s claiming to be over the issue but i guess i just need to ignore her overreactions - i’m sorry you’re also dealing with it

Blocking doesn’t always mean still being upset, it can also mean that she’s exhausted and doing overextending herself. Which is valid.

I agree. I mean it’s good OP apologized, but still. I’m currently on the receiving end of this type of situation and it honestly sucks. I’m rarely home, living on my own dime, yet I’m the one taking care of the place and cleaning frequently. It’s time to pick up some responsibilities and share the load. Sorry love

Yeah it’s an unfortunate situation for those who are on the receiving end for sure. I’m sorry about what you’re going through. Try to prioritize peace of mind.
