I'm so sorry you're going through this! unless it's someone you know really well never give this level of dedication to someone. like you're doing so much for someone who's just a roommate stop all favors asap if you haven't yet and I'd recommend distancing yourself from him because he's clearly not a friend

I am distancing myself from him and stopped letting him have access to my things and car. I saw he was in a rough spot and wanted to help him but then I saw true colors slowly come out and realized he is just using me. I really do honestly actually care about him but I hate being treated the way he treats me so rudely. I’m looking into a possible unit transfer

yeah I'm a similar kind of person to you, if I see someone in need I'll often help them beyond what I reasonably should. and it's really wonderful that you are that way and that you're trying to do kind things! but something I also learned the hard way is that you there are some boundaries you need to have to protect yourself and that there are healthier ways to help someone out
