make an agreement with your roommates for an hour or so each week where you’re guaranteed to have the room to yourself (this applies to all roommates, so everyone gets alone time). worked really well with my roommate freshman year!!

That’s one of the reasons I got a single. 1000% recommend btw, sure it’s more expensive but your life will be so much better
