Some people just don’t click. Could be any number of reasons, and it’s not an excuse to be rude, but that’s just how it is. Forcing it is only going to cause resentment.

yea but saying “we are not friends, stop trying” clearly shows that she is the problem here. A normal person would at least be cordial with their roommate as it is a shared space you both live in. This is coming from someone who has lived with randoms, friends, and even friends I stopped being friends with while living together. There is a difference between being “friendly” and being “friends” and it really doesn’t take much effort to at least be friendly.
