During move in my roommates family stayed for 3 days. 3 whole days. And keep in mind the FIRST 3 days, as roommates and in an apartment. Roommate didnt even care, liked it in some sick way.

My family got mad cause I told them they can’t just stay in mine and my roommates apartment like they do at my sister’s apartment. (My sister lives alone)

Nah that’s weird!! My parents were excited since it was my first move into an apartment far from home, so they came to help, but they stayed in a cheap hotel like normal people. And when my friend comes to stay it’s only a couple days, they use my things only, and we’re out n about most of the time
