as an only child, only children are either incompetent from being babied/spoiled or very mature from being alone/interacting with adults more… personally I fall into the latter, I could handle watching the house and my pets alone for the weekend before I could even drive. the other kind however I would not want as a roommate and I feel you OP 🫂
