Exactly! It was a spatula and a couple of chip clips and now we obviously need new ones. Like no I’m not going to go 50/50 with you on this girl get it urself and it’s completely yours when we move out 🤷‍♀️

And it’s not about me spending 7/8 dollars for necessary stuff but it’s the principle that she broke my shit and wants me to pay to replace it for her. Literally everything in the kitchen is mine except for a pot and pan so it’s 100% her turn to buy communal shit

Fr and if it really is a money issue she can easily get both items at a yard sale or estate sale for a couple bucks easily I’ve picked up plenty of kitchen items from those. Hell, companies give out chip clips as free promotional items. It’s tacky as hell that she even asked you to split the cost of items she broke, let alone for items that cheap and easy to find.

It’s annoyed me to the point of taking all my chip clips out of the kitchen the second they go out of use and just denying that idk where they are. (And getting a new spatula) and keeping it all in my room for personal use only
