Because you learn their true colors and most people cannot communicate or create and/or stick to boundaries.

Sometimes being a roommate with your best friend can be a hard thing because it either yall are too comfortable with each other to the point where yall got no boundaries like yall just won’t care if the house or the room is dirty. Or one of them just don’t know boundaries

It can almost be said that rooming with your best friend either breaks the friendship or makes it 1000 times stronger. There's no in between.

My friend who I met in February wants to room with me and Im scared…. she seems pretty communicative but she’s also extremely particular and Im a very “chill” person….
