My friend didn’t know how to write a check, I offered to help bc I write them all the time for my mom “Don’t even talk to me about that until you have no balance on your credit card” As if I miss payments on it and blow money on pointlessness…

Which btw, I have an amount from vacation, I had decided I’d allow $1,000 on the card. My work hours were cut just a week after returning which is why I still have a balance so now I’m making just under $200 biweekly. My friends literally treat me like I don’t understand how money works when I’m the one who’s had to be aware of money since elementary school. They think that bc my family has money that I automatically don’t understand how to works/have unlimited money…

I had friends like this. You either meet them where they are: cold hearted mean losers; or you ignore than and succeed irregardless

Idk I just needed to rant. My family didn’t always have money so we’re very aware of it. My friends also treat me like an idiot bc I don’t really pay attention in class, when I’m the one helping them study. One friend kinda waved it in my face they did better on a test, but they have accommodations and take it a few days after us when I struggle with tests but got diagnosed too late to get accommodations. Idk I just needed to rant. I love my friends but it’s just a bit bothersome at times
