YES and she banned me from using any kind of scent to help cover it - no candles, diffusers, plug ins, sprays, essential oils, absolutely nothing. told me she could have an allergic reaction so bad it could send her to the er because of any fragrance whatsoever. but then cooks somthing that smells so bad i put towels down to cover the door gaps, run all my fans, open my windows, and put on a mask to cover it from inside my bedroom 😭

omg and I bet you she uses scented lotions and perfumes all the same 🙄 so stupid! I learned the hard way not to do my laundry when mine’s home bc my air dry load ended up smelling so bad the next day. Like what are they using that’s making their food smell that rancid? Even the fridge stinks

Is opening the windows also “not an option”?

Not with the AC on. Also no screens and buggy summer? No thanks

True but if you only open the window closest to the kitchen and only open it far enough to wedge a fan in there with the intake side facing inside, you can air out the kitchen in under thirty minutes. This method not only tends to keep bugs from being able to enter the house, but also keeps you from having any significant change to the electrical bill in terms of the ac. My family does this every time we burn something to get the smoke smell out.
