Idc if you have a different opinion than my parents, I do too, but texting someone how much you hate their opinions/can’t believe them while on a trip THEY paid for is NOT ok. Parents mentioned the name of a politician but no specific policies btw

Parent said “oh yeah politician is at X area”. That was it. They paid for the trip, housing, food, etc. Them making conversation does not warrant you talking crap

I just don’t appreciate them talking bad about my parents when they’re footing the bill. It would be one thing to be talking bad about the actual policies of their beliefs, but they weren’t. Just being rude about my parents as people

Like my friend can’t name an actual policy but texted, and I quote, “I just can’t STAND to be around them it’s so annoying, they’re so brainwashed and they talk about it ALL THE TIME”. First off they don’t talk about it all the time, and they only mentioned it bc the town where politician was going was brought up. They didn’t say a positive or negative or even a policy.
