how do i tell my roommate i don’t wanna be close friends anymore? i don’t wanna cut her off but she made me go through one of the worst mental health episodes ever… should i just wait til we move out?

Just be honest, your health comes first. I realized after move in how different my roommate and I were, and I’m going through a diff stage of life than her… she was expecting to be friends, and I think it hurt her that I didn’t want the same, but you have to prioritize yourself rn.

yea tbh im distancing myself already and i plan to say something soon or at least when we move out so shes not confused i just dont wanna say something while we still have a month left and then shes miserable the rest of the semester yk 😭 im getting a single so its all good
