Sometimes they actually can’t. The noises around me is so loud that sometimes to voice isolation feature isolates the background noise instead of me so I have to yell to drown it out.

I’m confused by this comment do you mind clarifying? I meant I was wearing noise cancelling headphones. I wear them almost all the time when I’m home now. My roommate takes phone calls on speaker and talks very loudly.
