Well she might hate him bc he might be over too often or there’s something he does when he’s here that she interprets as disrespectful. It might make sense that ppl who know him personally might love him, but they prob don’t have to see him every day. Not making assumptions, but this is why I don’t like my roommates bf.

Totally fair! I have significantly decreased the amount he comes over maybe 2-3 times a week and I always try to do it when I know she’s not in the room and of course always ask but like even at that she will tell me to get him out like I see my other friends boyfriends more then my own at this point and like I go to his room as well but I don’t want to be the girlfriend that is always over for his roommates

Hmmm yeah idk the only other thing would be noise/spatial awareness. But some ppl are actually just uncomfortable around couples. Not bc they’re a hater, but it just feels like they’re intruding. If he stays for a long time it might be too much for her as well. My thing with my roommates bf is that they will watch tv tg and blast it for 5-7 hrs, almost until 3 AM. And act like I’m staring at them when I’m here, even though I’m actively trying not to. It just feels like I can’t relax.

Yeah that’s def crazy for the most part my boyfriend would come over at like 6 and at the latest be out by 10pm and we just hang out on my bed or at my desk making sure not to be on her side and nothing pda because I don’t really like that but if her boyfriend comes over they are like all over each other and there have been times where they will be laying on the middle of the floor. Like it’s hard because she tells me what I can’t do but then proceeds to do it when her boyfriend is over
