so, you can find a man attractive without wanting to crack. And it's all people. Ive seen some dudes who find other men attractive and become intimidated by their presence whereas a woman who finds a man attractive will just say it. No actual lesbian cares about attraction alone😭

Yeah, there’s honestly a difference between being lesbian and being a misandrist, most of the other people just don’t like men and I’m sorry they feel that way but there’s not much I can do other than just be a good man.

yeah same as a bi man (who thankfully likes men more so i dont have to deal with this usually) idek how i can prove im a good man, and all the misandry on the internet (like beyond just complaining about the patriarchy, ex: saying that all men cant be anything more than trash) is horrible to hear since it doesnt give me room to be better

It’s dehumanizing, and the fact is that the gender war was fabricated by dehumanizing men to then dehumanize women and by proxy all of humanity. And once you dehumanize everyone it’s easier to put forth suggestions to exterminate parts of society for the betterment of the whole.

exactly, especially with queer men being included as “one of the girls” and then being seen as basically “not men.” even though i know they dont mean to and dont intentionally do it, my girl friends always see me as “less than a man” somewhere in their brains. at some point gender stops being something to differentiate us and starts being specific labels everyone needs to follow and hate each other for.

It’s a problem with society, the loss of humanism in society also reflects the loss of religion in society. The importance of religious structure has been forgotten and many people have started isolating themselves to pursue “relationship over religion” forgetting that community (and diversity in that) are how societies function. Male and female are pillars of social structures and to destroy those is damaging.

no im not saying anything against that, it just feels weird that theres a whole conversation that leaves out the fact that someone can change their label as they figure out more about their sexuality

imo it also excludes people who dont fall into the gender binary, making it a full conversation about man v woman when we should be working together to find and solve the problems, even if we have to change individually for the betterment of society

I think that people can identify as male or female but I don’t think there’s anything outside that binary, I’m under the belief that male and female were made for one another and that’s just how it functions according to biology, to society, to culture, to religion.

Well because it isn’t ordered towards life, and it’s self serving. I see it as a perversion of the union meant to be between a man and woman.

it hurts no one and brings happiness to people, so it is kind of mean to see it as “perversion.” i think its best to have an open mind towards anything that is harmless as long as it brings people innocent joy

i can see that, but then why would it exist at all? if it is against nature, why would it be in nature?

upvote 4 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #4 17h

Ultimately it doesn’t make people happy, the group itself is “canibalistic” in a sense, constantly moving the goal post for what counts and adding every letter till it loses its meaning. The community attacks its own members constantly because they are too different or not extreme enough. And it does affect other people. A few years ago a man was killed for not agreeing with the LGBTQ community. And children are made to be things they wouldn’t have been otherwise. It is a perversion.

Cannibalism is in nature, so is rape, but they are not ordered towards good things. Ultimately it should be ordered towards love; willing the good of the other, and ordered towards life.

the children thing has 0 real evidence, one instance of murder does not prove anything, and as a member of the queer community, i have never experienced any infighting except being excluded for being “too extreme.” these things exist in nature too such as in velvet deer herds, lesbian seagulls, gay penguins couples, sex changing in clownfish and amphibians, not to mention intersex people in the human population. it doesn’t sound like you have extensively interacted with queer people

is being in this community not ordered towards love? i feel the same love for men and women, and both make me happy in the way love does, so how can rhat be sin/cannibalism?

I have interacted with quite a bit. Something appearing in nature doesn’t make it natural. And intersex people have a mutation. Same sex activities are aimed towards pleasure and are self serving. And while yes one murder isn’t indicative, an entire community celebrating that death and calling for more of it is perverse. Many of the queer community that I’ve interacted with agree that it shuns and excludes people for not being extreme enough or disagreeing with certain ideas and cult like.

For one all of the argument above attacking that girl, also the hatred towards bisexuals, and the constant additions to the acronym making it ultimately lose its meaning and purpose.

science does not lose its purpose when it changes; it’s simply the nature of discovery and heightening of humanity’s knowledge and technology. something similar is true for queer people, it’s just new acceptance for new groups now having words to put to their feelings or newly feeling safe enough to express themselves. most letters are just variations on previous umbrella terms anyways so that people may better personalize how they feel

same sex activities are not “pleasure focused” for most they are love focused too. i have been with my boyfriend for nearly 2 years now and we love each other with all our hearts. just because something looks different doesn’t make it wrong. also you said it was natural but wrong before, and now you’re saying it isn’t. and that is literally the definition of natural. what made clownfish change sex? magic? and where is your evidence that the entire community celebrated? i didn’t

I never said it was natural, I said I happened in nature but that doesn’t make it natural. It can look and feel like natural ordered love but it isn’t. Humans aren’t clown fish, that is specific to clown fish and humans don’t have the ability to change like clownfish do. Every September 10 the internet is full of kirkaversary celebrations and denying those happen is just delusional. Yes not everyone, but a large and disproportionate majority do.

something happening in nature is literally what natural means. again, you’re saying it’s perverse “because you feel like it” and oh, you were talking about kirk. he made millions off of spreading division and hatred, using lies to demonize queer people, immigrants, etc. he said school shootings were necessary and then died in one. while no one should be hurt for what they say, there is no reason for people to respect his death or life. it’s ok to joke about monsters dying

if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, feels like a duck, loves like a duck, it’s a damn duck. you thinking it’s unnatural doesn’t make it so. history and science repeatedly proves it has existed in humans since gender roles have and that it’s perfectly normal. if not serving as reproductives makes you useless, why are worker ants infertile? why don’t women die after menopause or men after they become infertile? and why does it have to have a purpose to be ok? why can’t we just be allowed?

What you are saying is taking many things out of context and not actually listening to what he’s saying, only what people have told you about him. And there is a difference between something being in nature and it being natural. What it’s ordered towards matters. For example I think we can agree that cannibalism and rape occur in nature, but that doesn’t make them natural. They go against natural order and only fulfill carnal desires. They are perverse.

see now you’re the one moving your post. you went from “extremist” to “hateful, yet live and let live”. the “natural order” you’re describing, where is it? what is it? what are its rules? where is the science? is it just how you feel? because then it’s not a natural order, it’s “#6’s personal biases based in a lack of understanding”.

I’m sorry I’m not explaining it well. I did explain what natural order is, if it’s ordered towards life, and the will of another. I suggest reading Thomas Aquinas’ interpretation on natural order.

it’s ok, i struggle to explain things too. so that’s based in religion, which has no empirical proof and is an emotion based argument that should not be applied to those outside of your religious institution. religion can be a beautiful thing that can bring people together and create community and purpose, but it is unacceptable to use it to claim people being what they were born to be are “unnatural” or to dehumanize those groups. that’s one of the things that can lead to genocide

The source I cited isn’t entirely based on religion. Yes he was religious but that doesn’t change the fact that his arguments are sound and logical. If everything in nature was accepted as right to do that wouldn’t make sense. What I described is logical and reasonable outside of religious context. Galileo was religious but he made important discoveries on the basis of science, Plato was also religious but his interpretation on morals and metaphysics are foundational today.

said effect could involve you here too. i berthing you’re saying here about sin proves your argument is based in religion as well. there’s no proving anything to someone stuck in faith as justification for the ignorance so i’ll just leave you with this: live and let live and don’t go around calling things that are huge parts of others identities “unnatural” just because someone a thousand years ago and then 2 thousand years ago wrote that you should (or didn’t, and it was mistranslated)
