as a vocal stimmer myself, they might not fully realize they are bothering you with it. a gentle “hey that’s really distracting me, could you please stop?” should work if they’re a decent human but if they get uppity about it then you might have to escalate

nah say smt nicer like “hey I’m sorry would you mind doing that a little quieter I have a hard time focusing when I hear sounds around me”
