I live in a dorm room so it’s different but I do be lowering the temperature if I feel hot. My roommate will raise it up when they seem curled in a blanket and the moment their backs are turned I drop it again. They have plenty of blankets and I want to be able to use my heating pad, they must’ve raised it before bed though because I woke up in a puddle of sweat with no blanket and no heating pad

I hope you know that costs a lot! My roommates have their parents pay but I pay all on my own so it’s inconsiderate! It’s also inconsiderate to keep on changing the temp! 65 isn’t a normal temp to be set on and can freeze the ac at our apartment because it isn’t a wall unit

Like I said I like in a dorm so it’s a fixed price that both me and my roommate paid at the beginning of the year. I set it to whatever temperature makes the AC kick back on whenever I feel hot, thats what it’s for. They walk in and move it until it kicks off.

Youre totally justified, did the same exact thing in the dorms but now that im in an apartment i check the temp everyday
