 having a roommate that is unsupportive of me getting a job knowing that they can ask their parents for money and i can’t, is really just the icing on the cake for this week. can’t wait till next semester when this isn’t an issue

Mine always used to say I work to much…. She gets a weekly allowance from her parents at the age of 23

i see you’re trying to uplift OP, but truthfully nothing is wrong with your parent supporting you through college if they can, it’s about being humble and still trying to understand those who aren’t getting that level of support
