
Ong this was me last quarter bc my residents would gossip about me nonstop and I was going through it. Eventually I realized that (not to sound cheesy) but there is different hats we present in different areas of our lives like being a student and RA. And that in this role, you won’t be liked. Though having a support system to rant to (outside of your room) and taking walks away from your dorm and being outside can make a positive difference in your mental health. It did with mine.
try to just leave your dorm whenever you’re not working. like i would constantly be visiting friends or on campus or camping at a cafe because living in the same place you technically work is just so stressful and hard to compartmentalize. like i always felt like i was clocked in even when i was in my room :(
