I’m an HD and I know “get out of the RA thread”, but I like seeing the bullet boards and program ideas. Worst part is living where you work and being salaried. So even though I seem to have one duty night every semester where I get nonstop calls 6pm-6am, I still only get paid for 40 hours that week. And my school lied to me about how overtime works for my first two years 🙃 Best part is not paying rent and saving a ton of money.

If you’re doing grad school see if they have it as an assistantship and get some tuition assistance while getting your masters!
