Could we say that these things in themselves are not corruption but if they’re used as a front to coerce people for someone’s hidden agenda then maybe that’s where the corruption comes in?

Originally I thought this made sense for my side but now I see this quote and image can be interpreted either way. It’s like those 1984 comments on YouTube videos where each side thinks the comment is painting their side nicely.
