The leftist abortion stance doesn’t make sense at all. Idk Charlie’s view on it, Ik he’s Catholic so he’s probably against all abortion, but I’m sure he understands that cases like rape happen. That doesn’t excuse the other 99% of abortion cases. The reason why the vast majority of people get abortion is so they don’t have to deal with the consequences of their actions. It’s “I don’t want to go through a mommy phase,” or “I’m not economically stable enough to have a kid.” None of these reasons
So your definition of murder isn’t consistent? First it was the first thing you said but now you’re changing it so it fits your narrative? But okay, so if abortion is legal in a state, you’d agree it’s not murder. Since it would have to be unlawful to meet that standard of murder.
Yes. It’s the google definition so it’s standardized. I admit the way I said it was wrong, but that doesn’t mean my point is null. That’s why I said it being legal in some states doesn’t mean it’s right or moral. The whole reason it’s written into law is bc it’s under the false pretext that it’s part of the mothers body, which it isn’t. It clearly isn’t.
Th thing is, the babies body isn’t your body. We know that, science proves that. The baby is in your body, but it isn’t your body, so you don’t get to have a say in what happens to it assuming you consented to sex and everything. I do get to have an opinion bc babies wouldn’t exist without men and women.
I’m not saying outlawing abortion completely. I think that should be the goal in a perfect world, but that’s not what I’m advocating for. I’m advocating for outlawing abortion bc the mother or the father regret doing certain actions and then don’t want to face the consequences. If you can’t pay the time don’t do the crime. Also, if we’re dealing with potentially killing innocents, it should be across the board. There is no murder is legal in some states and illegal in others.
