well yes ! because if voting were easy for everyone, the republicans would never hold power again. they require voter suppression to keep their minority power

Didn’t trump literally just win without voter laws? You’re basically saying it doesn’t matter if there is a law or not bc republicans are gonna win regardless.

there was a ton going into him winning again. a common enemy to unite the most hateful among us. kamala didn’t have very long to campaign. she also fell victim to purity politics. the reason he won is he has cultivated such a hateful white supremacist culture, that those truly nasty people feel comfortable saying the worst things they can imagine. that’s why trump won.

and now, they are trying everything in their power to pass that SAVE act and restrict MILLIONS from voting. that’s the perfect example of them not wanting ppl to vote

And before you say anything, Kamala never had a primary. She was thrust upon voters by her party, not chosen by the people

Primary elections aren’t a part of the constitution, it’s how PRIVATE parties decide who to support as a candidate. I’m sure a conservative can appreciate that. :) Trump has tried voter suppression in the past and his rhetoric around voting laws is evident and the implications are clear. He was saying the Biden campaign was going to cheat months before the election, he tried to get ballots illegally overturned by his administration, he tried to have his VP not certify the vote…

Depends on the state, in my state of you’re registered as an independent and show up on primary day, they just ask you which one you wanna vote in and you tell them.

Exactly, the PEOPLE of said party choose, not the leaders of the party. But you still haven’t answered my question: how has Trump won with voter suppression. You said he tried to suppress the vote in 2020 when HE LOST. But you haven’t given evidence of it for the times he’s won.

i’m saying it was an anomaly, one fueled by racism and hatred of non white people. in any other year, and with a longer campaign for the left, trump would have never one. he is the least qualified president we have ever had and it’s not even fucking close

I wholeheartedly agree, the left lost there own battle. That doesn’t prove voter suppression though.

It doesn’t sound like you understand how primaries or private parties work. There is literally nothing requiring private parties to run primaries, the reason they do is because they want to run a candidate that the majority of their voters can get behind. Also, it would have been just as, if not more suicidal for the party to run primaries months before the full election considering running a primary would take like a month and a half to two months at minimum. And why would they when the

Candidate they picked was the VP of the presidency that got the most votes in US history and it’s not even close. The whole talking point about the primaries is republican podcaster slop for people that can’t bother to read or get informed about the actual process or functions.

ALSO, the SAVE act is a clear example of the Trump admin pushing for voter suppression. Also, if his plans for suppression did work in 2020 then he would have won, but they didn’t because they were illegal and our checks and balances managed to hold…

He literally said on national television that Elon helped him because he knew “a lot about the voting machines”. I don’t think it swayed the outcome (Harris threw the election seemingly on purpose because of Israel), but it’s pretty likely that there was some cheating going on in Trump’s favor. Not to mention Musk was literally paying people to vote for Trump.
