We absolutely reject any kind of political violence. But I also won’t pretend Kirk didn’t build this brand of toxic masculine nonsense that leads to events like this

You can’t justify shooting someone.

i’m not justifying it. i’m saying his rhetoric leads to political violence like this.

Charlie was starkly anti violence. His ENTIRE PLATFORM was about talking things out and reaching out across the isle.

charlie made every ounce of his money off of rage baiting and attacking minority groups. when your entire life is centralized around spewing hateful rhetoric, it’s not surprising that someone uses that hate against him

i don’t think you belong in this group.. maybe go to a hate group or something?

i’m just conveying the logical thing. he centralized his life around guns and violence, then is surprised when its guns and violence against him

he was not pro violence. i suggest you do some research on his actual beliefs from viable valid sites. he believed in gun rights for protection and self defense, NEVER did he say that gun violence is a great thing or support it.

He quite literally said he believed in public executions.

Charlie said he believed executions should be public, quick, and televised following a guilty verdict from a jury of their peers and for serious crimes (the example he gave was a guy broke into a pregnant woman’s hime and murdered her and her three kids). Far removed from the violence me and #1 were talking about.

And that isn’t violent in the slightest? Wanting people to be killed in front of children for committing crimes?

If someone is going to be executed after being found guilty by a jury, believing that it should be done quickly, but publicly so that people can witness the punishment for a crime is less violent then having the execution be slow and private yes.

So to be clear you genuinely believe it’s not violent to kill someone in front of children as long as it’s lawful?

So in our conversation when you talked about political violence you actually meant executions. Got it.

No, I don’t think public executions, whether they can be viewed by children or not, is non violent. You need to reread this conversation.
